1985-97 Manager of Leading Scottish jewellery Manufacturer / Wholesaler

1985-92 Trained on Diamond & coloured stone sorting, grading, and selecting

1992-97 Promoted to main Diamond & Coloured stone buyer

1998-2002 Started own business in partnership with wife Dorothy

2002 Opened Studio in Eaglesham

2005-12 Nominated each year (8 years) for VOWS awards

2007 Won the VOWS (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier)

2012 Approved as Member of Guild of Master Craftsmen

2014 Awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths
